When Jake Gronsky was asked to share an off-season photo, he showcased working in a very different workshop than the workshop that is the minor leagues. The infielder, who played in the Florida State and Midwest Leagues in 2015, explained that the picture is of him in his "woodshop."
"No heat [in there]. Carpentry is one of my favorite hobbies, but my favorite part is taking broken, discarded, "mistake" pieces of wood and making a seamless piece of furniture out of it."
He then said that the piece he's seen working on is still in progress.
Also, Gronsky recently shared a story he wrote about professional baseball and the minor leagues for Kevin Wilson's site KWBaseball.com. You can read it here: http://www.kwbaseball.com/insomniacs-dream/
